Doctoral Candidate in Mechanical Engineering

During my work as a doctoral candidate, my major responsibilities included research, teaching and supervision of students conducting their research for master thesis. To conduct industry relevant research, I collaborated with multiple companies within Sweden. I conducted material testing, finite element and analytical modelling on packages at Tetra Pak. This to develop and add to the FE-simulation techniques for design and validation of suitable package opening be used to predict the opening performance early in the concept selection and act as decision support.
I have developed and modified several material testing method and analytical framework for thin packaging materials and their laminates. Furthermore, multiple computer applications were developed to calibrate and optimize constitutive properties in packaging laminates. In later sections, further details about my experience in research, supervision, teaching and research community services are provided.

Main responsibilities included research, teaching and supervision of students conducting their research for master thesis. Major percentage of the employment was for teaching and during this period I have gained experience in teaching several B.Sc and M.Sc level courses. I worked in several research projects for ABB HVC (now NKT) and iPak at the same time.
